Dork Jukebox: Milk Teeth, Frank Ocean, Girli and more

It looks like September might be another banger-heavy month.

Well, well, well. Has everyone recovered from Reading and Leeds? Got both shoes on? Washed all the glitter out of your hair? Nice one.

So, as we all know by now August was jam-packed full of bangers. By the looks of things, that’s not about to let up in September. This week we’ve had new ‘uns from Alex Lahey, The National, Frank Ocean, Wolf Parade, Bully, LCD Soundsystem, Ten Tonnes, Bloody Knees, Skott, Sløtface, Prides, Death From Above, HMLTD, and ‘formerly Thee Oh Sees, then Oh Sees, now OCS’ (to give them their full title). Phew.

Then Mac Demarco got on the virtual reality bandwagon with his clip for ‘This Old Dog’, Suzi Wu dropped her first video ever, and we also got clips from Kasabian, Milk Teeth, The Vryll Society, St. Vincent, Girli, and tonnes more.

Everyone brought their a-game on the live front too, with Liam Gallagher announcing an arena tour, Pale Waves off on their first UK headline jaunt, and IDLES scoring a massive support slot with Foo Fighters at London’s O2 Arena.

Check all that out in this week’s Jukebox.
