Have we missed a meeting? It seems like everyone under the sun decided that this past week was the week to Do Things. Our Jukebox this week is our biggest ever, so we’ve rounded it off at a neat 40 tracks. It’s the new 30, didn’t you hear?
We’ve got tunes from new blood like Partner, HAARM, and Anna of the North, plus appearances from more established faves like LCD Soundsytem, Weezer and The War On Drugs. Then there’s Wolf Alice, Dream Wife, Fickle Friends, Pale Waves, Blaenavon, and Girli, alongside a bunch of other acts beginning with ‘G’ (and some starting with other letters, too). On the video front we’ve had clips from Exit Kid, At The Drive In, Dama Scout, Skott, Mr Jukes, Cristobal and the Sea, and Queens of the Stone Age, not to mention Grizzly Bear’s bum-bongos in the video for ‘Mourning Sound’.
Even after all of that, there’s still the tour announcements – The Cribs, The Menzingers, The Movielife, and Marmozets. Oh, and Freak and King Nun are doing a double headline for us here at Dork Live. Lovely.
