It’s time for another of Fluffer’s legendary Pit Parties, with Dork faves (and inaugural cover stars no less) Spring King taking over a secret Hackney warehouse next Friday, 15th September, joined by Demob Happy and Nova Twins (pick up your tickets here).
To celebrate, Fluffer have put together a playlist featuring some choice cuts from all three bands.
“Here’s the tunes we’re most looking forward to ahead of next Friday’s warehouse pit party with Spring King, Demob Happy and Nova Twins,” they explain. “In short, it’s a line up that will have the whole place bouncing and moshing for three hours straight. No filler at Fluffer.”
SPRING KING – RECTIFIER
Number one banger from the Spring King armory. This is the song that will blow the roof off the warehouse a week Friday.
SPRING KING – TELL ME IF YOU LIKE TO
Hectic, frenzied cut. Love the driving bass line and the hooky as hell chorus. Mass singalong coming Hackney’s way.
SPRING KING – WHO ARE YOU?
Absolute classic. Anthem of the highest order. Who Are you in 360 degrees will have the whole place bouncing.
SPRING KING – CITY
Like most of Spring King’s tracks you jump on at the beginning, strap in, take the ride and get spat out the other end. This track is non stop. Start to finish absolute dynamite.
DEMOB HAPPY – YOUNG AND NUMB
Classic Demob. Drawl vocal delivery, fuzzy guitars. Heavy drums. Driving bassline. Can not wait for this in a sea of sweaty bodies.
DEMOB HAPPY – SUCCUBUS
Probably our favourite track by the Brighton boys. Killer riff. Shreds every time.
DEMOB HAPPY – DEAD DREAMERS
Like a good version of Stones of the Queens Age.
NOVA TWINS – BASSLINE BITCH
If attitude was battery farmed for a few years this is what it would sound like.
NOVA TWINS – DRUMS
Like a weird intoxicating mix of punk, grime and techno. These girls are going places no one else has been. It’s truly exciting stuff.
The remaining Fluffer Pit Parties are as follows: Spring King (15th September); Black Lips (24th November).
