Here are 6 acts you should see at Festival No. 6

Be seeing you in the Village.

The season isn’t over yet, folks. Festival No. 6 kicks off in the village of Portmeirion, Wales tomorrow for four days of music, culture, and other festive shenanigans. The event is named after the main character in the 60s’ bizarro-action-drama series ‘The Prisoner’, and is widely considered to be a totally unique gem. With so much great stuff on it’s easy to get overwhelmed, so if you’re headed to the Village this week here are some of our picks to get you started. Be seeing you…

Superfood

We love Superfood. They’re… well, yes, they’re super (we know. We’re sorry.). They’re also teetering on the edge of releasing their second album, and if the first two singles are anything to go by it’s probably wise to catch them before things go stratospheric.

Ten Tonnes

Ten Tonnes does a cracking indie bop, doesn’t he? He does. He was also so kind as to play our stage at The Great Escape this year, so we know what we’re talking about when we say he’s not to be missed.

PINS

All Hail PINS. No doubt any band that can score a guest spot from Iggy are incredibly cool, but PINS are absolutely storming with or without Mr. Pop. Check them out for tracks that crackle like lightning.

The Rhythm Method

Mega-banger vendors The Rhythm Method’s latest single ‘Something For the Weekend’ is so sunny that if you catch it live you just might believe summer isn’t over. Come for the warmth, stay for the grooves.

Honeyblood

Honeyblood are just about the closest thing to a guaranteed great time as you can get. That’s just a fact. To be perfectly honest with you, in our heads we’re practically on our way to their set already.

Wild Beasts

Wild Beasts were a highlight of Live at Leeds and downright unstoppable at Glastonbury this year. You see what we’re getting at here, right? Portmeirion will probably never be the same after they’ve stampeded through.
