There’s always going to be something you forget to take with you to a festival. Luckily, Mallory Knox bassist Sam Douglas is here to help with his list of must-haves.
Boots
Gotta prepare for that day the heavens open and you regret only bringing a pair of trainers/shoes with you. It took me three or four times attending festivals before I finally learnt my lesson and I’ve not looked back since.
Sunglasses
Obviously, it helps with the sun shining directly in your face when you’re trying to watch one of your favourite bands, but it also helps cover up the inevitable bags under your eyes on day two when the hangover kicks in.
Tinnies
First on my list. What better way to enjoy your favourite bands than having a few nice cold ones with the lads
Dry shampoo
It’s been known to save lives in moments of desperation when the grease and lack of showers become too much.
Deodorant
An absolute essential for life, in general, to be honest. But can also come in handy as a weapon when the odour from the people around you becomes too much for you to handle.
