Pale Angels are off on tour next week, with a run that kicks off on 13th December at Bristol’s Stage & Hounds, and winds up at London’s The Shacklewell Arms on the 21st.
To celebrate, they’ve put together a playlist featuring some of their fave bleak tracks: from Daniel Johnston’s ‘I Had Lost My Mind’ through to Your Funeral’s ‘I Wanna Be You’, via Patsy Cline and PJ Harvey.
The band explain: “This is a collection of sombre tunes by some of our favourite solo artists, to pull and tug on your most lonesome heartstrings.” Looking forward to the tour then, lads?
Pale Angels have also not long released their third album, ‘Daydreaming Blues’ via Specialist Subject (UK) and Recess Records (US).
