Last week we ran through a bunch of albums that will turn ten in 2017. There were loads, and even more that didn’t make the list. But while doing it, it struck us just how much amazing – or at least notable – stuff was out there a decade ago.
Vibrant, exciting, deliciously awful or fantastically brilliant – everything felt like a day-glo world of wonder. So much so we sent our playlist elves off to stick all the Indie Cindys, nu-rave space cadets, wonky-fringed pop punk and other glorious delights they could into one big bag of nostalgia.
It was a simpler time.
