PINS bring the heat to Reading Festival

Glittering gold.

Decked out in uniform sunglasses as they perform in the dazzling sunlight, PINS bring the heat to Reading Festival’s main stage.

Rich layers of sound swirl and evolve as the band pull out all the stops to incite their crowd to dance. Melody driven with contagious beats, the music they create is as bewitching as it comes. It’s a rush of intricately woven distortion with a dazzling charm, and the outfit relish in every note of it. “That was a new song, we just wrote it now,” the group laugh after a short instrumental jam. “It’s called ‘Fuck Sundays’.” Easing the festival into life on the last day is no easy task, especially in heat this sweltering, but PINS take it all in their stride. “What will we do when our dreams come true?” Faith Holgate sings during ‘Young Girls’. As the band tear through the remainder of their set there’s every sense they’re answering that question right now.
