Adele, Tame Impala, The 1975, Wolf Alice and Chvrches hit hard on day two of Glastonbury 2016

No need for rain, there were plenty of tears on the Main Stage.

Day two of Glastonbury took things to a whole different gear, lead by Adele turning in one of the most memorable headline sets for a long time.

Bringing a catalogue of hits and enough heart-breaking anthems to make the end of Titanic seem like a jolly, North London’s finest silenced any doubters in front of one of the largest crowds of the festival so far. You can check it out in full here.

Tame Impala (full set here) warmed up for Adele with a storming sunset slot on the Pyramid Stage, with Chvrches and The 1975 (watch) proving that the new wave of pop is well and truly taking names – both smashing their respective sets on the Other Stage.

You can catch them all from the comfort of your own bed via the BBC site, along with landmark sets from Wolf Alice (quite literally spilling blood on the Pyramid), New Order, and tons more.

Glastonbury will end with a bang tonight (June 26th), with huge sets coming from Coldplay, LCD Soundsystem, Beck, PJ Harvey, Grimes and Mac DeMarco amongst others. You can stream them live once again on the ol’ BBC interweb.
