After 18 years, there’s a new The Jesus And Mary Chain album coming, lead by new track ‘Amputation’

‘Damage And Joy’ is landing on March 24th

Rock’s original warring siblings, the Reid brothers of The Jesus and Mary Chain, have reconvened to announce ‘Damage and Joy’ the first album from the Scottish duo in 18 years since 1998’s ‘Munki’.

Trailing the album is lead single ‘Amputation’ which sees Jim and William on suitably surly and swaggering form singing “I’m a rock and roll amputation”. Good to know despite the long break some things never change, lads.

‘Damage and Joy’ will be released on March 24. Plenty of time then to repeatedly hammer ‘Psychocandy’ in anticipation. See below for the track listing to one of UK indie’s most anticipated comebacks.
