Alt-J’s new video for ‘In Cold Blood’ opens with narration from none other than Iggy Pop, who seems to be making the ‘indie’ band rounds at the mo following his appearance on PINS’ recent EP. Check it out below.
It’s the latest cut from Alt-J’s new album ‘Relaxer’, out on 2nd June, and was shot in Hareskoven Forest near Copenhagen by Danish filmmaker and photographer Casper Balslev.
“We love working with great directors, giving them the creative freedom to interpret our tracks as they wish,” the band explain. “It leads to great collaborations, like this new video for ‘In Cold Blood’ from Casper Balslev. As you are about to find out, a day in the life of a wood mouse can be unexpectedly dangerous… We hope you enjoy it.”
Alt-J are touring for much of the summer, with sets planned at London’s O2 Arena (16th June), Glastonbury (21st-25th June) and Boardmasters (13th August), among others.
