Arcade Fire’s Will Butler (yes, definitely that one) has released a new solo track ‘Anything You Want.
The stripped-down track was recorded in Hackney on the 4th July, but Will posted that it wasn’t specifically written for Independence Day. “It’s about George Washington, and my family, and America. It wasn’t written for the 4th of July, but it feels appropriate,” he said on Twitter. The chorus of ‘Anything You Want’ is taken from the Roy Orbison song ‘You Got It’.
Will is currently on the road with Arcade Fire on the ‘Infinite Content Tour’ to support their new album ‘Everything Now’. You can listen to ‘Anything You Want’ below.
