Arctic Monkeys have announced a bunch more shows for their UK & Irish tour

Looks like our Big Indie Summer is going to be followed by a Big Indie Autumn.

Arctic Monkeys put tickets for their UK tour on sale this morning, and they’ve already added a bunch more shows.

The run, in support of new album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’, now has extra dates in London, Birmingham, Sheffield and Newcastle.

Update: The band have now also added an extra Dublin show too.

Update 2: And now second new dates in Sheffield and London.

The tour has attracted some controversy in recent days due to a pretty steep ticket price, but there’s little doubt in demand for Arctic Monkeys live action, so expect it all to sell out pretty sharpish.

‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’ is set to arrive on 11th May. You can find our predictions as to what it may be about here, and find out how it fits in to a Big Indie Summer of megastars and brilliant music here.
