Following on from the rumours that Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters are going to headline Glastonbury this year, it looks like the latter band may be about to confirm their slot.
This weekend, fans have received mysterious ‘boarding passes’ in the post referencing the fictional ‘Obelisk Airlines’, and featuring the band’s logo inside a pyramid. There’s a ‘check-in time’ of 6pm tomorrow, 21st February – so watch this space.
Foo Fighters were meant to headline the festival a few years back, but they were forced to cancel after Dave Grohl broke his leg. They were replaced by Florence and the Machine.
Foo Fighters’ most recent album ‘Sonic Highways’ landed in 2015. Glastonbury takes place from Wednesday 21st – Sunday 25th June, 2017, with Radiohead already announced as a headliner.
