Austrian punks ASTPAI are celebrating their new album by releasing a vegan hot sauce

Yum.

ASTPAI released their new album ‘True Capacity’ last week, but that’s not all they’ve had in the pipeline lately.

The Austrian punk band have teamed up with Tommy’s Hot Stuff to create their own hot sauce, which is def the best idea we’ve heard all week. Available at Astpai shows from their date in Vienna on 28th June, and in Tommy’s online store, the vegan sauce is made with habanero peppers.

Speaking on the collaboration, vocalist Zock says: “I approached Tommy a while ago, as I’m a big fan of his Hot Sauce. He’s a local Graz-based-Punk-drummer, so there was seemingly enough common ground to give this whole thing a shot.

“Luckily, Tommy was all up for collaborating from the get-go and came up with this amazing alternative to his certified recipe. The True Capacity Hot Sauce still has the same mango-, ginger- touch like the original, but the yellow habaneros and yellow peppers make for a slight variation in flavor, with the same level of heat. Easily one of my favorite Hot Sauces ever!”

The band are coming to the UK soon too, with a tour planned for August that’ll visit Brighton, London, Bristol, Manchester and Cardiff. The details are:
