Asylums premiere new video for ‘Alternative Occupations’

It’s out on a new split vinyl release tomorrow.

They only dropped their debut album over the summer, but Asylums are already back with a new single.

‘Alternative Occupations’ is out on flashy white limited edition vinyl from Friday, 2nd December – and there’s a video, too. Watch the guys cause a ruckus at their soul-sucking day jobs below, first on Dork.

The 12” also features contributions from three other bands: Petty Phase track ‘You’ll Be Dead’, The Horse Heads’ ‘Castles’ and Bait’s ‘I’m Still Here’.

“2016 has been a mad year for Asylums and our label Cool Thing,” says the band’s Luke Branch. “We put out our debut album ‘Killer Brain Waves’ back in July and were blown away with the acclaim it received.

“Because of our restless psyches and workaholic tendency’s we went straight back into the studio and tracked ‘Alternative Occupations’ and recycled some of the profit from our album to release it alongside some new bands from our home town on glorious 12 inch White Vinyl.

“There is a momentum and artistic ground swell in our community right now, we are so excited to see how things develop in 2017.”

Asylums have a couple of live dates coming up to see out the year, catch them at:
