At The Drive In show off their ‘Hostage Stamps’ with a blistering new number

It comes complete with a stop-animated journey into a world of giant arms and controlling forces – standard day then…

At The Drive In’s return is ripping its way through 2017 like a bullet out of a gun, and it’s firing on all cylinders with latest cut ‘Hostage Stamps’

Soundtracked and radiating with the trademark holler of frontman Cedric Bixler-Zavala, ‘Hostage Stamps’ is the sort of track that’s destined to erupt masses around the world – seething with an unbridled energy that has already got us gearing to head out the blocks.

Speaking about the track, Cedric explains it as:

“Like walking through the hallway in some war-torn ghetto and reading the writing on the wall. When you hear things like, “Raise your nithing pole,” I don’t think anyone will know what that is right away, but when you look it up, it’s this curse. We are going to be victorious. Here’s the fucking head on the stake in front of our army. We’re coming back. It’s reading the writing on the wall. It’s going and keeping your ear to the ground and listening to the heartbeat of young people.”

Complete with a surreal stop-animated video that incorporates overlord control and all sorts of digging, ‘Hostage Stamps’ is the latest track to be revealed from At The Drive In’s long-awaited new album ‘in•ter a•li•a’ – their first in over 17 years. Complete with ‘Governed By Contagions’ and ‘Incurably Innocent’, the record will land on May 5th, with the band returning to the UK to play this year’s Reading & Leeds festivals in August.
