All Tomorrow’s Parties have announced their forthcoming ATP 2.0, curated by Drive Like Jehu festival is moving.
The event was originally scheduled to take place as Pontin’s in Prestatyn, North Wales between April 22nd and 24th. After much speculation that it would be cancelled, it has now been revealed it will move to Manchester’s Victoria Warehouse.
A statement reads: “Please note that all ticket holders who have purchased chalets will be provided with accommodation at hotels in close proximity to the new venue, and ATP have contacted ticket buyers individually to advise on these changes on a case by case basis, assisting with transport changes where necessary. If you are an Drive Like Jehu ATP ticket holder and have not yet received contact from ATP, please email [email protected].”
Victoria Warehouse owner James Cohen says: “The beauty of the Victoria Warehouse is the flexibility of the space creating both intimate and expansive areas, which allow us to create an ideal setting for hosting indoor music festivals. The sheer raw industrial feel of the buildings which have kept many of its original features, mirrors ATP Festival’s ethos of originality and independence. We look to forward to hosting ATP’s debut event at our venue and building a long standing relationship which such an iconic brand.”
At the moment, there’s no news if a similar shift will take place for the Stewart Lee-curated ATP scheduled between April 15th and 17th.
