Bastille have announced they will head out on an arena tour this October.
The run – appropriately titled the Wild Wild World Tour – is in support of the band’s upcoming new album ‘Wild World’, due for release on 9th September.
Frontman Dan Smith says of the album:
“If our first album was about growing up and the anxieties surrounding it, our second is about trying to make sense of the world around you, both as you see it and as it’s presented to you through the media.
“It’s also about asking questions of the world and of the people in it. We wanted the album to be a bit disorientating – at times extroverted and introverted, light and dark.”
The tour kicks off on 28th October in Bournemouth, and includes a stop at London’s O2 Arena. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 8th July, with a resale from Wednesday 6th.
