Bastille’s new single ‘Quarter Past Midnight’ has been confirmed – and it’s gonna be with us tonight (9th May).
After a whole load of teasing, the track will be debuted on BBC Radio 1 as the band’s Dan Smith sits in for Annie Mac alongside Nick Grimshaw. Appearing in the Hottest Record In The World slot, from what Dan said on the show, it sounds like it’s the first taster of album number three.

“We wanted to try something a bit different and new,” explained Dan. “We had a really good time making this record and wanted it to very much be one concise thing with a very distinct sound.”
So there we have it. New Bastille. ‘Quarter Past Midnight’. Tonight. 7:30pm ish. Radio 1. Job’s a good ‘un.
