Bat For Lashes debuts ‘In God’s House’ video

The track is taken from new album ‘The Bride’, set for release this July.

Bat For Lashes has shared a new video for ‘In God’s House’, the new track she shared last week.

The song is taken from Natasha Khan’s new album ‘The Bride’, her follow up to 2012’s ‘The Haunted Man’, which is set for release on July 1st. The clip was conceived by Khan and is co-directed by John De Menil, featuring a trip to the Californian desert.

The album is described as following “the story of a woman whose fiancé has been killed in a crash on the way to the church for their wedding. The Bride flees the scene to take the honeymoon trip alone, resulting in a dark meditation on love, loss, grief, and celebration. “

Kahn will perform ‘The Bride’ in a series of shows in churches, with attendees encouraged to wear wedding and formal attire. You can find them, and the new video, below.
