BBC Four are working on a documentary with The Libertines

They’re looking for fans to get involved.

The Libertines are stars of the indie scene, the festival scene and now are heading for TV screens, with a documentary being worked on by BBC Four.

Producers for the programme – titled ‘The People’s History Of Pop’ – are keen to hear more from fans, with the band tweeting out information on how to get involved.

It follows a huge 18 months for the reformed starlets, who returned with their third studio album ‘Anthems For Doomed Youth’ last September, headlined a string of festival dates and played their biggest UK headlines dates including a night at London’s O2 Arena.

The Libertines will headline a very special Unity Rocks show at Brixton Academy on 7th September, with support coming from Rat Boy.
