Beach Slang leader James Alex has long been performing under the name Quiet Slang, playing the band’s songs in a more measured, solo setting.
Today, he’s announced plans to release an EP of those takes, reworking a number of Beach Slang songs under that moniker.
Titled ‘We Were Babies & We Were Dirtbags’, the first track to be taken from it is a new take on ‘Bad Art & Weirdo Ideas’, which you can check out below.
The EP is set for release on 20th October. Expect a new Beach Slang album proper next year.
