It appears Beach Slang have parted ways with drummer JP Flexner so that he can focus upon his design and illustration career.
In a post on his personal Facebook, Flexner explains this decision didn’t come lightly and that mostly he’ll have a lot more free time to design, play drums or even baseball. This doesn’t affect any of Beach Slang’s current touring commitments, including the next show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn on 12th July where they’re playing the entirety of their kindred spirits The Replacements 1987 album ‘Pleased To Meet Me’. Those lucky devils in Brooklyn.
The band are currently working on their second album, the follow up to 2015’s ‘The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us’.
