Beck has given another somewhat broad release date for his highly anticipated new album.
The follow up to 2014’s ‘Morning Phase’ had been set for release back in the summer of 2015, and then December 2016, but now we’re looking at spring 2017.
In interview with The New York Times T Magazine, he reveals that it will consist of ten tracks that are “simple and uplifting and galvanising, where the spirit moves you, that kind of feeling.”
To be fair, that sounds like it would be quite welcome in 2017. Let’s hope we’re not waiting around ’til 2018.
