Five years since his last release , 2011’s ‘Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm’, songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich has started the hype train rolling for his next release ‘After The Rain’, which is due out August 19th.
To do so he is releasing a new track from the album each week until the release. This weeks’ is a beautifully solemn number called ‘Cocaine Doll’.
Certainly not a summer banger, it’s reserved with sweeping strings and a repetitive acoustic line that creeps throughout. Definitely worth a listen, but maybe not at your mates BBQ.
