Biffy Clyro have shared the first track from their new album, set to drop this summer.
Titled ‘Wolves of Winter’, the track got its first play on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show this afternoon (March 21st). Alongside the song comes the news that the forthcoming follow up to the chart topping ‘Opposites’ will be titled ‘Ellipsis’ and drop on July 8th.
You can check out ‘Wolves of Winter’ below:
‘Ellipsis’ is described by frontman Simon Neil as “more of a punch to the nose than a big cuddle,” while “’Wolves of Winter’ is about us being wolves on a patch and if you come onto that patch, we’ll tear you limb-from-limb.”
The album will be available digitally and on CD as both standard and deluxe editions. In addition, a variety of vinyl formats will be issued together with a special D2C box set which will be available exclusively from www.biffyclyro.com.
Biffy have a huge rest of the year coming up, with European festivals, a co-headlining shot at Reading & Leeds and a massive Glasgow show with Fall Out Boy.
