Big Deal announce new album ‘Say Yes’

Listen to the title track ahead of the June release now.

Big Deal have announced details of their third full-length album.

‘Say Yes’ is the follow up to 2013’s ‘June Gloom’, and is set for release on June 10th (or June 17th in the US) via FatCat Records.

The album was delayed when the duo’s laptop was stolen in the December of 2014, containing all their demos and ideas for the album. “We had to start everything from scratch—it was fight or flight and we decided to fight,” they say. “Pretty much everything that could fall apart for us, did. This included parting with our label [Mute], breaking up a relationship, band members leaving and losing all of our music when my apartment was broken in to. We didn’t want to give up, or revel in our misery. We decided instead to try and turn it into something magic.”

Teaming up core duo Kacey Underwood and Alice Costelloe with full-time members Jessica Batour and Jesse Wong, as well as a guest spot on drums from Peace’s Dom Boyce, the record is preceded by its title track. You can stream that below.
