You know the deal by now. Every month (well, both of them – Ed), we’ve told you the new issue of Dork is packed with stuff. Rammed. Loaded. They have been too, but this month makes all previous attempts look well under weight. September’s mag is something else.
For a start off, it’s literally our biggest yet – featuring an increased page count. We needed it too, to fit in all these goodies.
This month’s cover features infectious upstarts The Big Moon. Currently holed up in the studio working on their debut album, they’re a force of personality that refuses to be contained any longer. One of the most exciting new bands on the block, by the time you’re done you’ll be convinced they’re heading for very, very big things. So long as they don’t have to talk to Robbie Williams to get there. Then it might get, y’know, a bit tongue tied. Don’t ask, you’ll find out soon enough.
The delights of the new Dork go far further than skin deep, though. That’s not everything, either. Alongside the latest reviews, reports, news and general bobbins, this month we’ve gone one step further. On top of our usual mag there’s an extra special Reading 2016 pull out poster ‘zine. Yep, two for one. Featuring reports from across the weekend, exclusive photos, posters (well, it is a poster ‘zine), and interviews with The Vaccines, Slaves, Two Door Cinema Club and more, it’s a sizeable cherry on top of a massive cake.
