Billie Marten has revealed details of her debut album.
Titled ‘Writing of Blues and Yellows’, the 17 year old’s first full-length is set to drop via Chess Club / RCA on September 23rd. It comes alongside a new single, ‘Lionhearted’, which is set to be the Hottest Record on Annie Mac’s show as Huw Stephens sits in this Wednesday (27th July).
After appearing on the BBC Sound of 2016 shortlist earlier this year, Billie is on the fast track to ‘the top’. She’s got a bunch of live dates coming up, including a headline tour this October where she’s just added a second London show after the first one sold out. Go Billie.
