Super Furry Animals have released their first single in seven years.
Titled ‘Bing Bong’, the track was penned in the lead up to Wales’ Euro 2016 campaign this summer, and is the first new material since 2009’s ‘Dark Days / Light Years’.
It’s not the official Welsh anthem for the tournament. That honour falls to the Manic Street Preachers, who debuted their track ‘Together Stronger (C’mon Wales)’ yesterday. ‘Bing Bong’ is, predictably, entirely different.
A statement from the band says: “Let’s come together this summer, in song and let that song be ‘Bing Bong’.”
