Blaenavon take the top spot in this week’s Dork Buzz Chart

Girli is in two, with Pale Waves completing a banger packed top three.

Blaenavon have stormed to the top of this week’s Dork Buzz Chart with ‘The Monte Carlo Kid’.

The Buzz Chart is our weekly run down of the hottest new tracks, based on reader votes, visits to readdork.com, shares, likes, RTs and other ‘stuff’. Blaenavon’s loyal band of followers came up with the goods this week, narrowly beating Girli’s ‘Hot Mess’ to the top spot on the strength of votes alone. Across thousands (yes, thousands) of Dork reader submissions, there was less than a handful in it at the end, with the final winner going right down to the wire.

Elsewhere, Pale Waves drop a place to 3, with last week’s Number 1 St. Vincent at 4. A pair of our faves, Violet and Llovers turned their Dork premieres into Top 10 slots, with Superfood, The Big Moon, Declan McKenna and Wolf Alice making up the rest of the top 10.
