Blossoms are on track for a Number 1 album, with their debut self-titled record.
Topping the Official Albums Chart midweeks, they’re in the lead by just over 7,000 combined sales.
London rapper Giggs is currently sitting at Number 2, with his fourth album ‘Landlord’ – potentially his highest charting album yet.
Viola Beach’s self-titled posthumous debut album – currently at Number 1 – is at Number 3, while ELO’s ‘All Over The World’ is at 4, Wild Beasts’ ‘Boy King’ is at 5, and Moose Blood are at 6 with their second album ‘Blush’.
Another notable inclusion is Dinosaur Jr. at 15 with ‘Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not’.
Blossoms have also just announced a one-off London show for later this year, playing O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 13th December. It follows a UK tour this September and October.
