Bombay Bicycle Club’s Jack Steadman is back as Mr Jukes

There’s a new – different – album on the way.

Bombay Bicycle Club’s frontman Jack Steadman is back! Back!! Back!!!

With the band on hiatus, BBC has already given us the fantastic Ed Nash’s Toothless. Now, Jack is emerging with his own new guise, Mr Jukes, with a new album on its way.

Released on 9th June, it’ll be titled ‘God First’, and sees Steadman teaming up with a bunch of guests. The first track to be lifted, ‘Angels / Your Love’, features vocals from BJ The Chicago Kid.

“BJ was the first person I collaborated with on this record,” Jack explains, “and if you listen to the horns in the chorus of this song, that was the feeling I had coming out of the studio that day. Pure awe and excitement. I decided right then not to call this a solo record, but to seek out as many collaborators as I could.”
