Bon Iver and The Staves team up for backstage ‘Flume’ video

Complete with death metal ending. Obviously.

A death metal ending isn’t what you’d expect from Bon Iver and The Staves, but that’s what they’re promising in the description to their new, backstage clip.

Taken on the two acts recently wrapped Asian tour, The Staves shared the clip of the bands warming up backstage at their March 8th Hong Kong show performing a version of ‘Flume’, taken from 2008’s ‘For Emma, Forever Ego’.

“Emily filmed our group warm up backstage before the last gig with Bon Iver in Hong Kong on 08/03/2016,” reads the YouTube description. “Such sweet memories. Can’t remember why we never did do that death metal ending live…. Anyway, enjoy! XXX.”
