BØRNS has released second album ‘Blue Madonna’, which means we’ve got another collab with Lana Del Rey.
Following the previously released ‘God Save Our Young Blood’ comes the album’s title track, which you can check out, alongside the rest of the record, below.
In other LDR news, Radiohead’s publishers have responded to Lana claiming a legal battle is currently underway over her track ‘Get Free’ being too similar to ‘Creep’.
Tweeting about the news, Del Rey previously claimed she’d offered Radiohead 40% of the rights, “but they will only accept 100.” “Their lawyers have been relentless,” she revealed, “so we will deal with it in court.”
Now a spokesperson from Radiohead’s publishers, Warner/Chappell has denied they’ve filed anything. “As Radiohead’s music publisher, it’s true that we’ve been in discussions since August of last year with Lana Del Rey’s representatives,” they tell Pitchfork.
“It’s clear that the verses of ‘Get Free’ use musical elements found in the verses of ‘Creep’ and we’ve requested that this be acknowledged in favour of all writers of ‘Creep’. To set the record straight, no lawsuit has been issued and Radiohead have not said they “will only accept 100%” of the publishing of ‘Get Free’.”
