Brighton-based four-piece Breathe Panel have released their new video for ‘Carmine’.
Taken from their debut album due 13th July, and produced by Hookworms frontman MJ, it’s a punchy slice of soaring shoegaze that tackles the subject of fear.
The band explain: “‘Carmine’ is a track that focusses on a few lifelong irrational fears and the beauty that can be found in throwing them to one side by doing something new.
“The artwork for the track was a photo taken on a day where Josh experienced this and we wanted to create a video that captured this too. We came across the director Nick Whitworth and thought he would suit it.
“We filmed for a day in one of our houses in Brighton with a group of curious doves in the sky, he took the idea and captured it through mixing frantic movement with a beautiful constant.
“If you can guess the irrational fear I’ll buy you a pint.”
If the fear is being shat on by a bird, we don’t agree it’s irrational m8.
