Broken Social Scene are ‘Halfway Home’ with their first song in seven years

It’s a fresh new groover from the Canadian alt-rock collective

The best things come to those who wait – and we’ve been rewarded handsomely when it comes to Broken Social Scene, with their first new music in over seven years surging straight into view with ‘Halfway Home’.

Debuting the track with a live performance on US telly’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, it’s brimmed full of that all-encompassing feeling of warmth and joy – a full spectrum of personalities and blistering drive that’ll immediately remind you just how essential they really are.

‘Halfway Home’ is the band’s first new material since 2010’s acclaimed LP ‘Forgiveness Rock Record’ – and comes with the news that the band will return to the UK in May for two huge headline shows in Manchester and London. Tickets for the shows are on sale now so, y’know’ don’t be a dummy and miss out eh?!
