Catch a glimpse of what Franz Ferdinand got up to at The Biggest Weekend

Glaswegian rockers bring the hits to Belfast.

There’s no Glastonbury this year – you may have noticed. Because of that, the good ol’ BBC decided – rather than shift their wall to wall coverage to one of the other UK festivals – they’d expand their annual Big Weekend and make it, y’know, even bigger.

So, over the past few days, loads of huge names have been playing at various venues across the UK for BBC Music’s Biggest Weekend. At normal festivals, you don’t get Ed Sheeran opening stages, or Taylor Swift showing up for a quick 30 minute set – but in the world of major broadcaster organised events, anything is possible.

It also means loads – LOADS – of footage is available online. Including Scottish indie trailblazers Franz Ferdinand playing ‘Glimpse of Love’, a track from their new album ‘Always Ascending’.
