Chairlift’s Caroline Polachek has revealed her debut foray into instrumental music, with new album ‘Drawing The Target Around The Arrow’.
After the Brooklyn duo announced they were parting ways as a group, there was the mention that life after Chairlift would mean more solo-orientated work, and Caroline’s latest project is pretty clear confirmation of that – with the collection being made available for free as a surprise release on Thursday (January 19th).

Chairlift will close out their 12 year career with a run of farewell shows across the US this Spring, with a closing performance currently lined up in their hometown of Brooklyn on April 22nd. Expect the duo (made up of Caroline and Patrick Wimberly) to be making a ton more sounds in the future, ‘cos they ain’t done yet.
