Alt-J have contributed a new track to Will Smith’s new Netflix film, Bright.
Out on 22nd December, the film stars Smith as a Los Angeles Police Department police officer in a world of both human and mythical creatures.
The band have contributed new original track ‘Hares on the Mountain’, which sits alongside songs from Bastille, Rag’n’Bone Man, A$AP Rocky, Portugal. The Man, Neil Young and more.

Alt-J also recently released a new live EP, featuring their tracks ‘Dead Crush’, ‘Hit Me Like That Snare’, Dissolve Me’, ‘Every Other Freckle’ and ‘Pleader’.
“As a thank you for all of the support you’ve given us throughout 2017, we wanted to give you a free download of a few live tracks from our recent North American tour,” they explain.
The band are touring Europe early next year with Marika Hackman, though sadly there aren’t any UK shows. Their latest album ‘Relaxer’ came out earlier this year.
