Brighton newcomers Projector recently dropped their new single ‘Break Your Own Heart’ via Roadkill Records, and now they’ve shared the video too.
The track is a legit banger dripping in dark, cinematic noir, so – obviously – comes with a video featuring children ripping apart organs, colourful balls and a melon, which you can check out first on Dork below.
“The song itself is about not recognising yourself, so we decided to explore youth and behaviour… and do it with a shiny pop video,” says bassist Lucy Sheehan.
“We had an amazing time filming it. Tilly (Demelza’s niece) was a superstar and Stewart [Gardiner] got some amazing shots from the studio… I injured myself on the infinity wall.”

Projector are on the road throughout spring, with loads of upcoming shows including the Roadkill Records All-Dayer in London, and some sets at Brighton’s Alternative Escape.
