Yassassin’s swaggering debut EP ‘Vitamin Y’ is out tomorrow (Friday 1st September), but you don’t have to wait until then to hear it.
Produced by Dave Allen and mixed by Mike Moore, it’s an attitude-packed project that sees the band team up with the PRS Foundation for a limited edition transparent blue 12” vinyl.
“We sent in our application [for funding] on the very last day before the deadline and I guess they liked it,” Anna explains. “It’s a fantastic project that we are so grateful to be part of and it has definitely opened new doors for us.”
“We didn’t expect to be picked,” adds Joanna, “so it was a really amazing surprise. They’ve been super supportive and of course the cash is always welcome.”
