After you’ve conquered every venue, festival and sound system around the world – where else do you turn? Well, a film is a pretty good move and Wolf Alice know all about this, debuting a clip from their upcoming ‘documentary’ escapade ‘On The Road’.
In what would be our ideal hangout, the clip finds the band having a bloody good laugh backstage with fellow dream hearts Swim Deep and Bloody Knees. Boy, ain’t life in a band fun!
‘On The Road’ is directed by Michael Winterbottom, the man behind acclaimed flick ’24 Hour Party People’, and follows the band on the road (who’d have thought eh?!) through the fictions tale of a new crew member. The film is set for its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival, well – right about now! (October 9th)
It follows a huge 18 months for the band, whose debut album ‘My Love Is Cool’ burst into the charts at number 2 and resulted in a mammoth run of tour dates around the globe, including 4 sold out nights at London’s Kentish Town Forum.
