Chvrches have dropped a brand new megabanger, ‘Miracle’

The latest cut from ‘Love Is Dead’ is the trio at their devastating best.

Chvrches have dropped the latest track from their forthcoming album ‘Love Is Dead’.

Set to arrive on 25th May, we’ve already had three tracks from the release – lead cut ‘Get Out’, ‘My Enemy’, which featured The National’s Matt Berninger, and latest preview ‘Never Say Die’. Now we’ve got a fourth, and it’s the banger.

Debuted as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, ‘Miracle’ is the only song recorded on British soil, and was recorded with legendary pop producer Steve Mac. Produced after the band thought the record was done, it made its way onto the album.

Both quintessentially Chvrches and yet different to anything the trio have done before, ‘Miracle’ sits at the heart of the band’s new album. You can check it out in full below.

Yep, Chvrches have now worked with the man who produced 5ive’s ‘Keep On Moving’. That’s how brilliant ‘Miracle’ is.

The follow up to 2015’s ‘Every Open Eye’, ‘Love Is Dead is set to arrive on 25th May.

It’s an album about growing up and “coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can’t get one without the other,” explains Lauren Mayberry.

While Iain Cook adds, cheerily: “We’re fucked, the world is fucked. But there’s an ellipses at the end. It’s Love Is Dead. Like, how did we get to this point? And how do we move on from this point? It’s Love Is Dead, we’re fucked, what’s next?”

The track listing is as follows:

Graffiti
Get Out
Deliverance
My Enemy
Forever
Never Say Die
Miracle
Graves
Heaven/Hell
God’s Plan
Really Gone
ii
Wonderland

You can catch the band this summer at loads of festivals, including Parklife, TRNSMT and Citadel in the UK. They’re also at Primavera, Best Kept Secret, Southside, Hurricane, Openair, NOS Alive, and loads more further afield.
