The Cribs have their own range of signature guitars, which is lovely

An essential for all you professional Jarman impersonators.

Ever wanted to be a Jarman? Well, now you can, and without having to move to Wakefield and change your name. The Cribs, it turns out, have their own range of signature guitars.

The Fender Squire efforts are available now from “all good music stores”, but are limited editions, so when they’re gone they’re gone.

Writing about the guitars, the band explain: “Ryan’s signature “Mus-Uar” is a cross between his two favourite Fenders – the Mustang and the Jaguar, and is based on a doodle he did as a teenager. It features a Jaguar single coil pickup in the neck, and a Hi-Output Humbucker in the bridge with Mustang switching and a bonus Kill-Switch. It also features an Adjust-O-Matic bridge and Jaguar tremolo.

“Gary’s “Comet” Bass is the result of his concept to try and cross the short-scale (30″) Mustang Bass with the full-scale (34″) Precision Bass, so we met in the middle to create this brand new shaped medium scale (32″) bass.

“We love these guitars so much that they have become our main touring instruments, and we hope you guys dig em too.”
