People may have been talking about Radiohead headlining Glasto for a while now, but it seems like those other rumours may not be as accurate, as Emily Eavis has ruled out both Daft Punk and The Stone Roses for next year’s Worthy Farm throw down.
Talking to NME, ‘Double E’ said:
“There’s no more announcements now for a while, but I will tell you the other two that have been rumoured aren’t happening. There was a news story that said Daft Punk and Stone Roses. That’s not true. I don’t know where that came from.”
After carving Radiohead’s logo in the Worthy Farm grass it’s pretty understandable why they wouldn’t want to get started on a Lemon so quickly, but Eavis also confirmed more details on how this year’s line-up is looking.
“It always seems to get earlier and earlier, but I think because we’re having a year off in ’18, we’re cramming two years of music into next year. We’re quite far down the line. It’s looking so good. We’re certainly all there with all of our headliners across all stages.”
