Day one of Lollapalooza was cut short due to a weather emergency

That meant Lorde, Muse and more were forced to cut things short.

Day one of this year’s Lollapalooza festival was cut short due to a weather emergency.

The Chicago festival was forced to cut things short because of a dangerous storm in the area, meaning sets including from acts including Lorde and Muse were pulled.

“Fucks sake. I am so gutted guys I don’t know what to tell you,” Lorde tweeted. “They’ve told us we can’t play. I had the most spectacular show planned for you and I promise I will come back to play it as soon as I can.”

Earlier, Liam Gallagher ended his set after only 20 minutes, walking off stage. He later tweeted claiming his exit was due to a vocal strain from a show the night before.

It definitely – 100% – wasn’t because of this.
