Day Wave deliver mesmeric synth-glides on new track ‘Untitled’

A shimmering indicator of what’s to come from debut LP ‘The Days We Had’

Finding a perfect home across delicate synths and soaring glides, Day Wave’s new one ‘Untitled’ is a refreshing peek into sunrise that has us doe-eyed and hooked.

The track, taken from Day Wave’s incoming debut album ‘The Days We Had’, ticks all the right boxes and has us clambering for summer already – primed with the chills of quiet mornings and blissed out moments that bear the hallmarks of Day Wave’s infectious electronic sound.

Speaking about the track to Paste Magazine, Day Wave (aka Jackson Phillips) explained how “a lot of this record was written around the time of my first two EPs, but this song is one of the exceptions. I wrote it just a few days before I went into the studio to record the album. I’m glad this one made it onto the final track listing, it’s one of my favourites.”

‘Untitled’ is just the latest shining sign-post for what’s to come from ‘The Days We Had’, following the previously unveiled ‘Wasting Time’ and ‘Something Here’. Set for release on May 5th, the album comes ahead of a headline night at The Garage in London on May 23rd.
