Deap Vally have a new video for ‘Critic’

A moment of raw serenity from latest LP ‘Femejism’ now has a video too

Deap Vally have unveiled a new video for latest album number ‘Critic’.

The stripped-down steel cutter takes a square-aim at a world where everyone’s a hater, with the video itself being shot in drummer Julie Edwards’ daughter’s bedroom. It’s like the campfire singalong that you crack out when you’re sick of spending your days in a tent in a field near Wrexham – taking no prisoners in the process.

The garage-riff duo released their second studio album ‘Femejism’ last year, brimmed full of storming numbers that we dived right into when we chatted to the band around its release.

Deap Vally’s only confirmed UK show at the moment is an appearance at this year’s Secret Garden Party, so expect them to steal the weekend if we know what Deap Vally are all about.
